HYDERABAD : The police have announced a reward of Rs. 1 lakh for any information leading to the arrest of culprits behind the blast in Odeon theatre. Announcing this at a press conference on Thursday, Hyderabad Police Commissioner A.K. Mohanty said that details of informants would be kept confidential. The informant would be given a code word with a letter followed by four digits. Any clue about the blast can be informed to Additional Commissioner of Crimes Rajiv Trivedi or Deputy Commissioner of Police (Detective Department) T.V. Shashidhar Reddy over their telephone Nos. 94406-27940 and 98487-78217 respectively. Asked about the progress in the investigation of the case, Mr. Mohanty said all angles were being probed. "But it appears those behind the explosion wanted to create terror and pose threat to people," he said. He made it clear that the blast in the theatre and an explosion in a house at Indiranagar of Banjara Hills on Thursday had no connection.
