Lagos: Two expatriate oil workers, including an Indian, on Thursday were kidnapped in the southern Nigerian oil city of Port Harcourt, company and army sources said.
No details
``We learnt that three foreign oil workers have been kidnapped. We don't have the details,'' a spokesman for an oil major told AFP. An army spokesman said members of a local community kidnapped the two. ``There were two men, an Indian and another person. I don't have his identity,'' an army major said. Those kidnapped were working for a subsidiary of Anglo-Dutch giant Shell, but the company could not immediately confirm the incident.
