Dyal Singh College teachers threaten to abstain from work

Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI: The controversy over the proposed removal of a Dyal Singh College teacher on charges of sexual harassment seems to be only getting murkier.

Even as a section of the University teaching community is protesting the decision of the Delhi University Teachers' Association (DUTA) to support the accused, the executive members of Dyal Singh College Teachers' Association met Delhi University Vice-Chancellor Deepak Pental on Thursday and threatened to abstain from all college work if the Governing Body's recommendation to terminate the accused History professor, R.K.Sinha, was not quashed.
