GUNTUR: Javvadi Venkata Naga Subrahmanyam, who has been selected in the civil services examination with 126th rank, has decided to leave his lucrative ERP Solutions job with the Satyam Computers in Hyderabad to join the Indian Police Service training. Mr. Subrahmanyam was drawing more than Rs.6 lakhs per annum as ERP Solutions consultant, but he wanted to serve people through the Indian Administrative Service. A student of Nagarjuna IAS Academy of Guntur, where he was coached by V. Ravindra Babu for six months prior to interview, he told reporters here on Thursday. A native of Vijayawada, he was the all-India topper in ICWA in 2001 and got 33rd rank in Chartered Accountancy in 2002.
