NEW DELHI: Celebrating the magic of colour, art exhibition "Myriad Hues: A Medley of Colours" now on at Open Palm Court of India Habitat Centre, brings together works of several well-known artists including A .S. Chitrak, Shanti Dave, Baniprosonno, Bikash Poddar, Sanjay Bhattacharya, Ashok Bhowmick, Hukum Lal Verma, Mohan Malviya and many more. Put together by Indiaarts Forum, the gallery attempts to bring under one roof various artists, united in their diversity and artistic expressions, while retaining their own individuality and artistic statement. Speaking about his work, artist A. S. Chitrak -- who is known for blending spirituality with art to create a powerful image of the divine -- says: "I feel that Indian mythology is not confined to old rituals that are blindly being followed or the flights of imagination of the grandmothers' tales, but a lot more than that. It is deep philosophical thinking and interpretation of a universal science." The exhibition also gives an opportunity to Delhiites to get a peek into the work of artist Sanjay Bhattacharya, a much acclaimed painter who has been part of various national and international exhibitions in India and abroad. Also featured is artist Shanti Dave who has held innumerable exhibitions across the country. Sharing space and limelight at the exhibition is Hukum Lal has also participated in various artist camps and workshops.
