WARANGAL: Developments with the TRS are taking twists and turns with both dissident MLAs and those with party president K. Chandrasekhara Rao claiming mass base in their favour. Their claims assumed significance in view of the forthcoming local body elections. The dissident MLAs Dugyala Srinivasa Rao and Bandaru Sara Rani who have been claiming full support of party workers in their respective constituencies, are encouraging their followers to join the Congress before the elections. This is only to secure Congress ticket for their strong followers. Speaking to The Hindu, Mr. Srinivasa Rao said TRS workers were volunteering to join the Congress as they were vexed with the attitude of the party leaders A. Narendra and K. Chandrasekhara Rao.
