HASSAN: Elaborate security arrangements have been made for Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy's two-day visit to Hassan district. The Chief Minister will participate in the "Guruvandana" programme organised to mark the 99th birthday of Sri Shivakumara Swamiji on Sunday on the premises of the Government Junior College here. The Chief Minister will launch 15 development works on Monday, Additional Superintendent of Police, K.S. Thammiah, has said. Addressing presspersons here on Friday, he said that in addition to the Hassan police, 250 policemen, from the neighbouring districts would be deployed.
