Birthday fete of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar

KOLLAM: The 50th birthday of spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will be celebrated by his devotees here on Saturday. The celebrations will comprise a `shoba yatra' to herald the arrival of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar here on November 27. During the visit Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will inaugurate the Art Of Living Ashramam here and will also participate in the `anandotsavam' to be held at the Asramam Maidan here.

Swamy Sadyojatha, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar's prime disciple, will lead the `shoba yatra' on Saturday.

The yatra will start from the Kochukodungallur Temple junction and pass through Taluk Cutchery junction, the Main Road and Chinnakada to reach the Anandawalleshwaram Temple grounds. Swamy Sadyojatha will then deliver the benedictory address at a guru pooja function.
