ANANTAPUR: The final years results of degree courses of Sri Krishnadevaraya University were announced here on Friday. The results were released by Vice-Chancellor A. Rama Rao. Of the 9,802 candidates appeared for final year examinations of B.A, B.Sc, B.Com and BBM courses the percentage of successful candidates was 63, 69, 52 and 96, respectively. Of the successful candidates 1,649 achieved distinction, 4,284 were passed in first class, 2,607 came in second class and 870 were passed in third division. Prof. Rama Rao stated that those who had failed in one subject could appear for an instant examination to be held within a fortnight. Marks memos would be dispatched to the colleges concerned by May 15. University Rector C.R. Visveswar Rao, Registrar R. Ramakrishna Reddy and Dean of UG Studies R. Chandrasekhara Reddy were also present.
