`DIC Left's stand vindicated'

KOCHI: DIC Left Forum chairman M.A. John claimed on Friday that the outcome of the Assembly election had proved that the forum's stand was right.

Mr. John, who was sacked as senior vice-president of the DIC(K) for openly challenging the DIC(K) decision to align with the UDF in the election, said the DIC(K) supporters had actively campaigned for the LDF candidates.

He urged DIC(K) activists, who had been "let down by the leadership" to work alongside the forum activists.

A meeting of the forum would be held in Thrissur tomorrow to chart the future course of action, Mr. John said.
