Pillion rider killed in road accident

CHENNAI:
A 23-year-old woman pillion riding on a two-wheeler died in a road accident at Agaram junction near Villivakkam on Friday morning.
Police identified the victim as Linsy Priya (23).
Police said the victim was pillion riding in a two-wheeler on the 200 ft road. A vehicle going in front of the two-wheeler suddenly stopped as its tyre burst. The rider applied sudden break to avoid hitting it. But a truck coming from behind hit the two-wheeler. Linsy Priya sustained severe injuries. She died later. Tirumangalam police have registered a case and arrested the driver Yusuf.
