Website for National Biological Association for Students launched

ONLINE PRESENCE: M.S. Swaminathan, Chairman, MSSRF, launches the website of the National Biological Association for Students in the city on Thursday.

CHENNAI: The National Biological Association for Students is a registered society with the main objective of creating awareness among the student community about the various opportunities available to them.

Prof M.S. Swaminathan, chairman of the M.S. Swaminathan Research Foundation launched the NBAS website and dedicated it to the student community on Thursday. He complimented NBAS for its initiative and said the association and its website would enthuse the students to form an effective and efficient network. This network could work for the betterment of mankind through biotechnology.

The website - www.nbasindia.org - will include links to important biotech related sites creating a network, access to free online journals and latest updates in the field of biotechnology among other features, according to the NBAS president, N. Shakthi Meyyappan.
