HYDERABAD: A couple died reportedly after consuming poison in their rented house at Sanjay Gandhi Nagar of Jeedimetla late on Thursday night. In a note purportedly written by Edukondalu, 30, and his wife Laxmi, 24, it was alleged that two persons - Vinay and Dhanalaxmi - were responsible for their death. The couple hailed from a village near Bheemavaram in Krishna district. They were working in Venkateswara Packaging Industry at Jeedimetla. "They had not gone to the factory for the past 10 days," Jeedimetla Inspector B. Srinivas Reddy said. The couple had informed the house owner that they were planning to return to their native. Around 11.30 p.m. on Thursday, Edukondalu called house owner Raghuapathi. When he went to their house, they did not open the door initially. Later, Edukondalu opened the door and collapsed. They were rushed to a hospital where they died . The police suspect Vinay and Dhanalaxmi could be colleagues of the victims. The couple also listed their debts, which came to Rs. 5,000.
