Trouble erupts in marriage procession

HYDERABAD:
Mild tension prevailed at Zakir Hussain Colony of Saidabad on Friday night when some youngsters taking part in a marriage procession allegedly attacked two persons and damaged two shops in an inebriated condition.
When the procession reached the main road from Milan function hall, some youths quarrelled with a couple of auto-rickshaw drivers and a clash ensued. Some from the marriage party attacked two passers-by with cool drink bottles resulting in minor injuries to them. Two shops were damaged and windscreens of a car and a jeep were broken. "We rushed additional forces and situation is under control," City Security Wing Additional DCP Venkateswara Rao said.
