`Expedite desilting works'

HYDERABAD: Collector Arvind Kumar on Friday suggested civic authorities to expedite desilting works of lakes and nalas keeping in view the coming monsoon. Speaking at a meeting with MROs and Constituency Supervisory Officers here, he asked them to construct boundary walls along nalas to prevent floodwater entering houses. MCH had already allocated Rs. 40 crores for the works.
