THIRUVANANTHAPURAM : Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has thanked the Government employees for the cooperation they had extended to his ministry. The Chief Minister, who was speaking at a farewell function held in the Durbar Hall of the Secretariat on Friday, said he had submitted his resignation to the Governor and it has been accepted. He stated that the cooperation of the civil service was essential for effective administration. Chief Secretary Mohammed Riyazuddin, the General Administration Department Secretary E.K. Bharat Bhushan and other department secretaries were among those who attended the function.
