Man killed in accident

Thiruvananthapuram : A 38-year-old man was killed and eleven others injured when a mini-van collided with a vehicle conducting stage carriage services at Vattappara on Friday. The police identified the deceased as Udayakumar of Sobha Bhavan in Vithura. He was driving the mini-van. Four injured persons were travelling by the van. The other seven were travelling in the vehicle involved in the accident. The accident occurred at Vettinadu junction around 3.45 p.m. — Staff Reporter

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) has clarified that the meeting between senior officials of the Railways and KSEB has not decided to supply power from KSEB's 110 KV substation at Technopark to the Traction sub station at Kazhakuttom by utilising underground cable. — Staff Reporter
