RAMANATHAPURAM: Uma Bharathi, former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, and Bharatiya Janashakthi Party founder, on Saturday started a `yatra' at Rameswaram to highlight the values of Indian tradition and culture. Ms. Uma Bharathi said the `yatra' would cover 3,000 km across seven States, including Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, in 90 days and culminate in Khedernath. Ms. Uma Bharathi said allowing unlimited foreign direct investment would backfire. As for the BJP's poor performance in the Assembly elections, she said the cadres lost interest in nurturing the party, as the leaders were following wrong methods.
