Good knock by Seetha

Good knock by Seetha (55 not out) helped Rayalaseema XI score a 25-run win over Geeta Reddy XI in the Kasturba Gandhi Memorial State-level 20-20 women's cricket tournament match in Medak on Saturday, according to information received here.

The scores: Andhra XI 125 for four in 20 overs lost to Hyderabad XI 126 for five in 19.4 overs (Keertana 52); Rayalaseema XI 141 for two in 20 overs (Geetha 55 not out) bt Geeta Reddy XI 116 for five in 20 overs.

Officials' examination

Athletic Federation of India will organise a Federation Technical Officials examination on June 24 and 25 at Shimla, Ranchi, Bhopal, Imphal and Bangalore. Entries close on May 30 with the AP Amateur Athletic Association.

Inter-club tennis

Jubilee Hills International Centre will organise Semantic Space-JHIC AP State open prize money inter-club tennis tournament from May 18 to 21. This knockout event is for those above 35 years with each team consisting a minimum of four and a maximum of six players. Entries close on May 16. Details can be had from A.V.
