New Delhi : Shagun Chowdhary created a new National record but still finished 24th in the women's trap event of the World Cup at Kerrville in the United States. She shot a score of 61 with a series of 21, 20 and 20 to for a new National record in the process. Seema Tomar finished 36th with a score of 53 (19,15,19), according to information received here on Saturday. The gold in this event was won by Mei Zhu of China with a score of 89 (72+17), the silver went to Theresa Dewitt of USA with 88 (71+17) while Susanne Kiermayer of Germany won the bronze with a 86 (66+20). — UNI
