Ritwik in quarterfinals

Mumbai: India's No.1 Ritwik Bhattacharya entered the quarterfinals of the Atlanta Open squash tournament after getting past qualifier Robbie Lingashi of Zambia.

Bhattacharya outclassed Lingashi11-2 in the first game of their pre-quarterfinal tie before the African was forced to retire after spraining his ankle at the start of the second game.

The Indian player, who has broken into the top 50 of the world men's rankings, would meet Shawn De Lierre of Canada for a place in the semis. — PTI
