Athletics
Bangalore: A 26-member team that features Anju Bobby George among the prominent athletes, will represent India in the Asian Grand Prix athletic meet here on May 22. The organising committee will also conduct an Asia peace and unity run on May 21. The open event will commence at the Mayo Hall at 8 a.m. The run will feature leading lights from sports and arts. The team: Men: Anil Kumar, Bhupindar Singh, Satbir Singh, Ghamanda Ram, Francis Sagairaj, Sunil Kumar, Pritam Bind, Joseph Abraham, Gurpreet Singh, Roy Shankar Hari, Amritpal Singh, Mohan Singh, Ranvijay Singh, Navpreet Singh, Jagdish Kumar Bishnoi, Anil Singh. Women: Rajwinder Kaur, Manjit Kaur, Geeta Satti, Pinky Pramanik, Shanti Soundararajan, Anuradha Biswal, Anju Bobby George, Harwant Kaur, Seema Anthil, Krishna Punia.
