Diploma course in journalism

CHENNAI: The next edition of Chennai Kendra Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's one-year part-time evening post-graduate diploma courses in journalism (government recognised), marketing and advertising and retail marketing will commence on July 3.

Courses will be conducted at Mylapore and Kilpauk. Six-month certificate courses in Corporate Communication and news writing and reporting are also offered. Law students in Australia

Two students of Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University's School of Excellence in Law, Lavannya Ashok and Chitra Subbiah took part in the Asia-Pacific Rounds of the Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition 2006, organised t Sydney, Australia.

They won the Award for Best-Spirited Participation, All-Round Performance and Cultural Exchange.
