NEW DELHI:
Four persons have been arrested by the South Delhi police for allegedly killing a 10-year-old boy whose body was found at Okhla in South Delhi this past Tuesday. According to the police, the accused -- identified as Safiq, Ranjit, Chander Prakash and Manish Khan -- were arrested on Friday.
Earlier, Dilshan Khan, son of Irshad Khan, a resident of Okhla, had gone missing on May 7 evening. His body was recovered from a sewage pipe on May 9.
During interrogation, the accused allegedly confessed to having killed Dilshan. The police said the accused were ruffians and used to bully people in their locality. They also used to steal mobile phones and commit other thefts.
