HYDERABAD:
Textbooks of all classes up to SSC will also be supplied free of cost to "open category" students in all the Government, aided and local body schools from the next academic year.
A decision to extend the free benefit to this segment of students was taken at a meeting on textbook availability here on Saturday, on the ground that these students otherwise may feel discriminated. The meeting was chaired by School Education Minister N. Rajyalakshmi and attended by officials.
