Pramod Mahajan's ashes brought to city

HYDERABAD:
Glowing tributes were paid to the departed BJP leader Pramod Mahajan when his ashes were brought to the city on way to his birthplace of Mahabubnagar here on Saturday. Mahajan's son-in-law Anand Rao accompanied the urn containing the ashes. The urn was taken in a procession from Begumpet airport by the party's city cadre led by their chief Venkataramani and traversed through Paradise, Ranigunj, Musheerabad and to the city office.
State General Secretary K. Laxman said that with the death of Mahajan, the party had lost a great leader. The ashes will be kept for public display till Monday morning at the party's State office before they will be immersed in Krishna river at Dichpally.
