Lecture series

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan has organised a lecture series on "Pearls of wisdom," (Arulvakku) of Kanchi Paramacharya.

The 12-lecture series, starting from May 14, will be held from 6.45 p.m. to 7.45 p.m. The series covers a wide range of topics with the first being "Guru Bhakti." The lectures will be delivered by Mathoor Krishnamurti. For details, call 22267421, 2267303 or 22265746.

Matrimonial meet

Bhavasara Kshatriya Seva Samaja will hold a matrimonial meet for brides and grooms of the community on May 28 at Mahalakshmi Temple premises, Kumara Park West. For more information, call 23441695.

Training programme

The Multi Disciplinary Training Centre, Office of the Commissioner of Khadi and Village Industries, will conduct a training programme in paper conversion: making note books, envelope covers, paper flag pads, scribbling pads, paper plates and book binding and spiral binding.
