Woman succumbs to burns

BANGALORE:
A 26-year-old woman of Odeyanahalli who had suffered burns died in Victoria Hospital on Friday.
According to the police, Geeta, the victim, married Ravi, a construction worker, eight years ago.
On Tuesday, they had a fight and Ravi allegedly doused her with kerosene and set her ablaze.
The Vidyaranyapura police have registered a case of murder against Ravi, who is reported to be at large.
Suicide
Irfat Khanum (26) of Vinoba Nagar committed suicide by hanging herself in her house on Friday.
The police said Khanum married Samiullah Khan, an auto mechanic, three years ago.
They have a one-and-a-half-year-old son. The police said Khanum who got disgusted after a fight with her husband ended her life. The police are on the lookout for Samiullah Khan, who is said to be at large.
