Blast: police to seek help of Defence authorities
Staff Reporter
BANGALORE:
The city police will take the help of the local Defence authorities in their investigation into the blast that killed two boys, close to Madras Engineer Group and Centre, in Banaswadi police station limits on Friday.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (East Division) P. Muniswamy said the police wanted to know how the misfired "air-defence shell" landed in the hands of Prashant (13) and Susai Raj (4), who were killed in the incident.
The police were awaiting the report from the Forensic Science Laboratory, Mr. Muniswamy said.
The post-mortem of Prashant's body was conducted at the Ambedkar hospital on Saturday.
Prashanth's mother Bhavani, who was injured in the incident, is recovering in the Command Hospital.
