AU has some foreign students on its rolls at present and with better facilities, both for their stay and quality education, it hopes to increase the number. More foreign students on the rolls also means increased revenue in the shape of fee for the university. This will also help the university to improve its NAAC rating. In its efforts to impress the NAAC Peer Team that visits the campus next year, AU is concentrating on improving the facilities.

All departments will be computerised and every member of faculty will have his or her own PC with Internet facility. This has been planned during the term of former Vice- Chancellor Y.C. Simhadri and one hopes the computerisation will be completed well in time before the NAAC Peer Team's visit.
