BANGALORE: The results of Second Pre-University examination conducted in April will now be declared on Wednesday, and not on Monday as announced earlier. The results will be available online on various websites on the same day, and at the colleges on Thursday morning. Heavy load on the PU Department this year was one reason for the postponement. "We had to conduct examinations for 36 subjects under the old syllabus and 35 subjects under the new syllabus. Besides, this year, we had introduced several innovative schemes. Compulsory internal assessment marks for all subjects under the new scheme also added to the additional work," PU Department Director Gonal Bheemappa told The Hindu . The results of the just concluded Common Entrance Test would be announced on June 3, as per schedule, Mr. Bheemappa said. The admission round seat selection process for medical and dental courses is scheduled to commence on July 3.
