Sai Kumar wins title

HYDERABAD: D. Sai Kumar of Anandnagar Welfare Association Academy won the cadet boys singles title defeating Arsh Agarwal 11-8, 15-13, 11-9 in the final of the MCH Open table tennis tournament at Victory Playground here on Sunday.

Nikhat Bhanu recorded a double winning the junior and the youth titles in girls' category.

The results: Cadet boys: Final: D. Sai Kumar (AWA) bt Arsh Agarwal 11-8, 15-13, 11-9.

Semifinals: Sai Kumar bt Sai Krishna 11-1,11-2, 11-4; Arsh bt Gurupreet Singh 11-2, 11-9 11-9.

Hyderabad XI

posts easy win

Hyderabad XI scored a six-wicket win against Geeta Reddy XI in the Kasturba Gandhi memorial State-level women's cricket tournament in Medak.

In another match, Rayalaseema XI scored a 10-run win against Andhra XI.

The scores: Rayalaseema XI 124 for five in 20 overs (Mamata Anuja 65) bt Andhra XI 114 for seven (Soujanya 33); Geeta Reddy XI 114 for one (Uma Maheshwari 34, Diana David 57 n.o.) lost to Hyderabad XI 116 for four in 19.3 overs (Rajani 40 n.o.).

Billiards camp
