ANANTAPUR: The police on Sunday arrested 14 suspects in the murder case of TDP leader K. Suryapratap Reddy. A four-wheeler, 15 crude bombs and three hunting sickles were seized from a haystack at Kalluru at the instance of the suspects. Giving details to newspersons here, Additional SP G.S. Seshagiri Rao said though Sureedu's family members had named J.C. Pavankumar Reddy, son of Minister Diwakar Reddy as the key suspect the probe in that direction had not find any evidence so far. The arrested persons had confessed during interrogation that Bhogati Narayana Reddy masterminded the killing, the ASP said. The police were on the lookout for Narayana Reddy who had gone underground after the killing.
