Allahabad Bank declares 40 p.c. dividend

MUMBAI: Allahabad Bank has posted a net profit of Rs. 715.49 crore for the year ended March 31, 2006, against Rs. 682.36 crore in the previous year. Total income has increased from Rs. 3,840.21 crore to Rs. 4,381.73 crore. The bank has proposed a final dividend of 40 per cent for the year ended March 31, 2006.
