KADAPA: Hardly literate and hailing from poor families, their hopes to earn some money by working in Kuwait for a few years ended in a tragedy for 11 persons who were charred to death in a fire accident at Old Khetan in Kuwait on Sunday evening. All the 11 persons hailing from Kadapa district were burnt alive when a gas cylinder leak caused a major fire in a shopping complex. The identity of seven of the 11 victims has been established so far, according to information available. Two victims each belonged to Vontimitta, Atlur mandal and Badvel mandal, while one from Ravindranagar. News flash about 11 persons from Kadapa district being burnt alive in Kuwait created panic among the family members of nearly 300 persons from the district who were working in Kuwait.
