Mulayam claims to be messiah of Muslims

BADAUN (UP): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav on Monday claimed that his government had done the maximum work for emancipation of Muslims.

"No other Muslim or non-Muslim Chief Minister in the country has delivered more than my regime for the community,'' Mr Yadav maintained.

He also claimed that U.P. was all set to become the country's first State which would not be dependent on the Centre.

``Due to our pro-active policies, top industrialists of the country are keen to invest in the State,'' he added.

The Chief Minister lamented that the Centre was only trying to defame his government on the law and order issue, although nothing was out of control.

"Had the Centre not created hurdles, we would have been able to provide 24-hour power supply to even small hamlets in UP," Mr Yadav asserted. - UNI.
