Court denies Malini permission to travel abroad

Staff Reporter

Seeks permission to go to London

NEW DELHI: Justice Vikramjit Sen of the Delhi High Court on Monday refused to allow Malini Ramani, one of the key witnesses in the Jessica Lal murder case, to visit London saying that appeal proceedings in the case had already been taken up by the High Court. Ms. Ramani, daughter of socialite Bina Ramani, had sought permission of the Court to visit London to take part in an exhibition there.

The Delhi police have issued "look-out" notices against the mother-daughter duo as both are key witnesses in the case.
