At a crossroads

Many roads in the city wear a refurbished look, thanks to repairs carried out prior to the Assembly elections. For several representatives of the people, taking up road repairs became a priority to ensure that funds did not lapse at the end of their tenure.

But it is not mere potholed roads that pose a nightmare to the drivers. Many of those who drive into the city roads find the conditions hostile in the absence of proper pointers and traffic signage. Why cannot the authorities install enough indication boards to guide the drivers, especially at crossroads?
