Staff Reporter

KURNOOL: Supporters of CPI (M) organised a demonstration at the Municipal Office on Tuesday protesting against supply of `unsafe water' in the city.

They alleged that due to pumping of contaminated water from KC canal to the summer storage tank, the entire source was polluted.

They urged the authorities to clean up the source before it created serious health problem. At one stage the protesters tried to troop into the office but Commissioner Venkateswarlu came out and addressed them. CPI(M) corporators Pulla Reddy, Nirmala and others were present.
