CHANDIGARH: The Haryana Government has prepared a Rs. 162-crore scheme with the help of the Central Government for construction of judicial complexes in the context of requirement over the next decade, Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda announced here on Tuesday. Talking to a delegation of the Punjab and Haryana High Court Bar Association led by its president Anmol Rattan Sidhu, Mr. Hooda pointed out that his regime had already sent a proposal to the Centre for carving out a separate High Court for the State. With the formation of a separate High Court of Haryana, the lawyers too would get a boost in their profession, he added. Mr. Hooda said that he himself had been a practising lawyer in the district courts and was well aware of the problems being faced by the lawyers. He shared his old cherished memories with the fraternity. He added that in Haryana chambers for the lawyers were also being constructed under the self-financing scheme. He urged the lawyers to help the poor and charge the minimum fee from them.
