Student commits suicide

Lucknow: Unable to cope with studies, an engineering student allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his college hostel room here. A native of Etah district, Pankaj Kumar was first year B Tech student at the Babu Banarasi Das College of Engineering.

Police said on Monday that a suicide note was found on his person that referred to bad grades in the first semester. The letter also claimed that Pankaj was nursing tension since last one month due to the approaching exams and had performance anxiety.
