MANGALORE: Panambur police on Tuesday arrested two persons in connection with a case of accidental death reported from ELF gas plants at Thokur on May 9. Superintendent of Police B. Dayananda said in a press release here that security guards at the plant had found Surendra Beshra (31) from Orissa and a guard lying on the road near the cylinder counting platform. Surendra, who had sustained grievous injuries to his head, died on the way to a private hospital in the city. Panambur police had registered a case of suicide and converted the case as that of murder based on postmortem report.
