BANGALORE: The Subramanyapura police have arrested one person on charges of murdering a TV serial actress. Police gave the name of the accused as V. Lokesh (27), resident of Adugodi Police Quarters.

According to police, the accused had slit the throat of Jyothi (40) at her residence in Konankunte I Cross on March 8. They said the accused had committed the offence for gain. Police have recovered gold jewellery, wristwatch and a mobile phone from him.
