TO KEEP WELCOMING TOURISTS: Foreign tourists enjoying a sunset from a boat off Fort Kochi. Kerala's tourism industry is facing stiff competition from foreign destinations that have reduced airfares. Lack of direct flights to the State from many desti nations is another problem.
