Maples opens second centre in Chennai

Prime vendor in ESM services for IBM

CHENNAI:
Maples ESM Technologies, a consulting company providing enterprise systems management (ESM) services for medium and large organisations, has opened its second facility in Chennai's new high tech corridor. Ram Subramani, Managing Director, told presspersons here on Wednesday that the $12 million facility has a wide range of high-end servers like IBM Mainframe Z/890, HP, Sun and networking gears designed to provide seamless IT services to its global client base in remote IT infrastructure management.
Mr. Ram Subramani said the company, started in December 2002, had grown to the size of 750 plus employees with branches in Pune, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Delhi, U.S and Japan.
He said Maples was the prime vendor in ESM services for IBM in India and has 493 professionals working in the IBM facilities in Bangalroe and Hyderabad.
The company has won many high-end clients in ESM services and currently has orders within India to add 300 professionals every quarter.
Maples has so far placed over 7,200 professionals in multinational organisations.
