KANNUR: The all-India strike of Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) called by the All India Regional Rural Bank Employees' Association has been deferred in the wake of talks held in the presence of the Central Labour Commissioner in Mumbai on Wednesday. General secretary of All-Kerala Gramin Bank Staff Federation C.C. Premaraj informed that the Central Labour Commissioner instructed the Central Government to implement facilities and allowances to RRB employees by May 30. Five executive directors participated in the discussion on behalf of the Central Government, he said. Mr. Premaraj said the Central Labour Commissioner posted renewal of the implementation on June 16. The Government was also instructed to take immediate decision on the formation of the National Rural Bank of India, he added.
