RRBs to market mutual funds

MUMBAI: The Reserve Bank of India on Wednesday allowed regional rural banks (RRBs) to market mutual fund units through their branches. RRBs may, with approval of their boards of directors, enter into agreements with mutual funds for marketing their units.
