DHARWAD: Former Chief Minister N. Dharma Singh has termed the Bharatiya Janata Party-Janata Dal (Secular) coalition Government in the State "a government which even does not have a primary knowledge about governance." Addressing presspersons here on Wednesday, Mr. Singh said that due to the inexperience and arrogance of its members, every issue was becoming a problem for the Government. He said nobody in the coalition Government had proper knowledge about the schemes related to the State. "When we were in office, we had taken an all-party delegation to Delhi regarding the metro rail project. The BJP which had condemned the argument that the project would help 16 lakh people then, is now giving a red carpet welcome to the monorail project proposed by Mr. Kumaraswamy," he said. He criticised the statement of Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy that the Centre was not cooperating with the State in implementing development projects. Mentioning the allegations made by Mr. Yediyurappa as Leader of the Opposition on the improper handling of flood relief works, Mr. Singh alleged that Revenue Minister Jagadish Shettar had not bothered to look into progress of flood relief works so far.
