NIZAMABAD: Gongalla Bheemaiah,55, of Fardipet village in Machareddy mandal reportedly died of hunger at his home after midnight on Tuesday. He was a Dalit victim and is survived by his 75-year-old mother and a mentally challenged son. According to information reaching here, Bheemaiah used to go to work till recently. He had been bedridden, after he was struck by a paralytic stroke. His old mother was feeding him and also his son by seeking alms. However, a few days ago she was suffered sunstroke, affecting the entire family. Though Bheemaiah had an Antyodhaya card he was unable to purchase rice following his illness. His wife passed away a few years ago and his elder son, Rajalingam who had gone to Hyderabad for work also died some time ago.
