Memorandum to be submitted to the Chief Minister

JAIPUR: Arya Pratinidhi Sabha Rajasthan has decided to launch an agitation in protest against the excise and education policies of the State Government.

The excise policy, which promoted drinking habits, and the education policy, which did not teach moral values, were proving detrimental to the youth of the State, charged the general body of the Arya Pratinidhi Sabha meeting in Bikaner this past weekend.

The Pradhan of the Arya Pratinidhi Sabha, Satyavrat Samvedi, who was re-elected on the occasion, said a memorandum demanding amendments to the excise and education policies signed by as many as one crore voters in the State would be submitted to Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje soon. The memorandum would seek involvement of the people in solving their basic problems, he said. The Sabha would hold public meetings, dharnas and agitations in every district on the two policies, Mr. Samvedi said
